Spring Eggstravaganza and BBQ
Please join us Saturday, April 15th, 2017 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the Ambrose Community Center Baseball Fields, 3105 Willow Pass Road ~ Bay Point. Activities include an egg hung for 2-12 year olds, crafts, a jumpy, and a BBQ. Please bring a basket or bag for the Egg Hunt! RFP: Painting Services
The Ambrose Recreation & Park District (ARPD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of painting services as described in this document. ARPD is a special district formed in 1946 under the California Public Resources Code, Section 5780 et seq. ARPD provides recreation, parks, youth and adult programs, senior nutrition, activities, holiday happenings, classes and special events for the Bay Point community and surrounding areas.
MANDATORY Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 @ 11:00 am at 3105 Willow Pass Rd., Bay Point, CA 94565
To be considered, the proposal must be received by the ARPD General Manager located at the Ambrose Community Center, 3105 Willow Pass Road by 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017—the proposal submission deadline. The proposal shall have clearly marked on the outside "Proposal – Painting Services". Selection is scheduled to be made by April 13, 2017.

CAPRCBM 2017 "Outstanding Program" award
The Ambrose Recreation & Park District is proud to announce that the California Association of Park and Recreation Commissioners and Board Members has named the Ambrose Teen Center as the recipient of the 2017 “Outstanding Program” award for the Ambrose Teen Center program. The program was recognized for its outstanding and innovative curriculum and for providing youth ages 11 – 18 opportunities to learn and socialize in a safe and stable environment.

The Ambrose Recreation and Park District is always seeking volunteers to help with special events, park clean-ups, and community center activities. Here is your chance to give back to your community while having fun meeting new friends.
Volunteer applications are available at the District Administrative Offices, at 3105 Willow Pass Road, Monday-Friday 9 am -5 pm.
Volunteers will be placed by their area of interest, by availability, and program times. For more information please call 458-1601
SPECIAL REQUEST: We are looking for a gym attendant who is willing to volunteer their time on Mondays/Wednesday/Fridays from 5:00-9:00pm.
This is an unpaid position but upon volunteering you and a family member will receive free membership as well as other discounts to other programs at the Community Center.
