Services

"C.C. Café" Senior Nutrition Program

The C.C. Café serves a healthy and nutritious lunch Monday-Friday, 11:30 am—12 noon for seniors 60+ years at the Ambrose Community Center. There is a suggested donation of $2.00 and lunch reservations must be made the day before by calling 458-2662. The café celebrates special events for the holi-days and holds bingo every Friday. Meal selections change daily. Come down for lunch, make new friends and take advantage of all the activities and classes available for our seniors.

Free Blood Pressure Screening

On the third Monday of each month, at 10:30—11:30 am, John Muir Health Senior Services offers free blood pressure screening at the Ambrose Commu-nity Center. Take care of yourself, check your blood pressure and beat the silent killer.


Bay Point Family Service Center

Bay Point Family Service Center offers Social Services, Health Services, Mental Health, Probation, and is also the site for county's Home Energy Assistance Program (H.E.A.P.)

The ARPD board meets every second Thursday of each month at 3105 Willow Pass Road in Bay Point. The meetings are open to the public and ARPD encourages public input and attendance to discuss community need pertaining to facilities and recreation programming.
