Bay Point Community Yard Sale On Saturday May 8th, from 8am-1pm. the Bay Point Chamber of Commerce and the Ambrose Recreation and Park District will be hosting a Community Yard Sale at the Ambrose Community Center, 3105 Willow Pass Road. The yard sale will give the community a day to sell those old items that have been sitting in the garage, back yard, or just taking up space around the house. So here’s your chance to make some spare change while having fun. We are planning a pancake breakfast to start the day and food will be available to purchase throughout the day. We will have information booths on how to recycle your old household items and have other community organizations on hand as well. We will also have a charitable organization truck available for those unsold items at the end of the day. Booth space in available to rent for $20.00, along with a refundable cleaning deposit of $25.00, which is returned at the end of the event. Sign-ups are currently taking place at the Ambrose Community Center during regular business hours between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday-Friday. Sign-up and booth locations are on a first come first serve basis, and to secure the best space, sign-up early. The Henkel Corporation has adopted the Ambrose Teen Center for their community project. Over 40 employees are working to bring the old class room into a new activity room for local teens to enjoy.
